~ NOTE~
It the customer’s responsibility to make sure they and everyone in the group they book for are aware of all the cat lounge terms and adhering to them.
– General Cat Lounge Terms –
*Enter through the back door of the shelter (Volunteer gate)
*Use hand sanitizer before petting cats and after.
*Do NOT wake a sleeping cat. (Soft pets and photos, no flash, are fine)
*Do NOT pull on, push, or chase a cat.
*No outside treats allowed. Do NOT feed cats any human food or drinks. Make sure to watch any beverage you bring into the room and take it out with you as well.
– Extra Reminder- this is a 13+ age group. Kids under 13 are prohibited.
*Some cats will not be available to hang with- please do not approach these cats.
*We will have a volunteer in each room while you visit the cats.
*Do NOT touch the cat food or water!
*Do NOT climb on the furniture. Furniture is for butts, NOT feet.
*Use inside voices. (No screaming.)
*No running please. (This can scare the cats.)
*Please bring a pair of shoes with you. Outside shoes are not allowed in cat room.
– Exclusive –
We have a maximum of 6 people allowed in this cat lounge.
– Important –
*Cats can bite and scratch. Use common sense around the cats.
*Hang up your coats, and large bags on the coat rack upon entry.
*Leave your cat (and all pets) at home. They will not be allowed in the cat lounge.
*Payment is final. No refunds, cancellations, or rescheduling.
*We do not guarantee that any cat will still be available for adoption at your visit.
Anyone not adhering to the rules will be asked to leave and no refund given. Thank you for understanding that these rules are in place to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for both the cats and people.
