Born and bred in Bristol, Lizzie Lane is the bestselling author of sagas and historical fiction including over 50 wartime novels, mostly based in Bristol. She also writes as Jean G. Goodhind and Jean Moran. As Lizzie Lane she penned the Coronation Close and The Tobacco Girls series, The Sweet Sisters Trilogy and more. The final book in The Tobacco Girls series was published in summer 2023 and is set as peace beckons at the end of WW2.
Her latest book A New Doctor at Orchard Cottage Hospital is eagerly anticipated in May 2024.
