Tournament Level: Intermediate Plus (IP) 24 +3 points COED (See rating info below and / or message Eric Bozoian at [email protected] for more info) (equivalent to a Yankee C+ tournament)

Important: This tournament is independently organized and is not a Yankee Volleyball Tournament. This event is run in a similar format for the enjoyment of the volleyball community, but it is entirely separate from Yankee Volleyball.

Individual Rating Scale

Expert Plus (XP): 8 points (equivalent to a Yankee A-)

Expert (X): 7 points (equivalent to a Yankee B+

Advanced Plus (AP): 6 points (equivalent to a Yankee B)

Advanced (A): 5 points (equivalent to a Yankee B-)

Intermediate Plus (IP): 4 points (equivalent to a Yankee C+)

Intermediate (I): 3 points (equivalent to a Yankee C)

Novice Plus (NP): 2 points (equivalent to a Yankee C-)

The total points of your team must equal 27. For example, you can have three Intermediate Plus players (4), and three Advanced players (5) which equals 27.

General Rules

• Follows USA Volleyball (USAV) rules.
• Players must wear shirts with numbers on the front and back.
• Men and Women can both block and spike in the front row.

Age Requirement

• All players must be over 18 years old.

Team Composition

• Teams must have a minimum of six players, including a designated Team Captain.
• Teams can include any gender combination.
• Teams can have a maximum of 9 players.
• Minimum 2 ladies on the court at all times.

Team Ratings

• New players will be evaluated by the tournament director.
• Teams exceeding 21 points will be disqualified and ineligible for prizes.

Game Format

• Matches are to 21 points.
• Each round consists of two games.

• Round 5: Team 4 vs Team 5
• Round 6: Team 1 vs Team 3
• Round 7: Team 2 vs Team 4
• Round 8: Team 3 vs Team 5
• Round 9: Team 1 vs Team 4
• Round 10: Team 2 vs Team 5

• Playoffs: Top three teams enter playoffs, the top team gets a bye in the first round and plays the winner of the first playoff round.

• Option 1: $165 per team (Venmo or Paypal). Avoid Eventbrite fees by selecting the free ticket option and paying directly to Eric Bozoian via Venmo (@eric-bozoian) or PayPal ([email protected] / 603-391-9226).
• Option 2: $165 per team via Eventbrite credit card payment. An additional fee of $11.90 applies.
• Note: Ensure to enter each player's information during registration to be eligible for the tournament.
