Coed doubles on short court with a WOMEN'S HEIGHT NET. Sound unfair? Try this on for size: men must be 5'8" or shorter. Yes, we will measure you if it's close (or bring your Driver's License to prove it). Women can be as tall or short as they like.The tournament will consist of pool play followed by a seeded playoff. Additionally, a sky ball contest will take place during pool play.
We realize this type of tournament may be a smaller turnout (pun intended) but we want to mix it up from time to time.
Note that we are asking participants to arrive early to assist with setup and to pick up shirts. More info to come when registration closes.
Format:
-Coed AA/A* grass 2s on short court at women's height net
*We can add another division if we get enough teams
Quick Rules:
-NOT a RevCo format
-All teams must consist of one male and one female (no same gender teams)
-Block DOES count as a touch
-A serve is never considered a hard-driven ball
-No open hand dink donks
Registration Info:
-$30/player. Prices increase $5 per player June 23, and another $5 per player June 27 for being a procrastinator.
-Registration AND payment deadline is Thursday, June 27 at 9:00pm/ET.
-Must have an active AVPA silver-level membership at the time of the event to participate.
-All payments and registration is done on Volleyball Life.
Free Agents:
-We can try our darndest to help free agents join or form teams, but they must be formed, registered and paid before the deadline.
