This workshop series is for anyone who wants to build their own online site. We're stripping away site-builders, frameworks and content management systems to make it simpler for new coders to build their own online presence, exactly how they want.
We will talk about the differences between the early and the current internet, and why it still makes a lot of sense to build your own online site. The workshops introduces the basic technologies of the web, teaches participants to program websites and offers a way for participants to host a site, free of charge.
You can join the individual workshops separately, but the workshop assumes participants are there for both workshops. No programming experience is required and it's free of charge. Bring your laptop. We have snacks and drinks.
