Cochichewick Brook once powered the mills in North Andover's historic downtown. Today, the remnants of that industrial past can be seen along the brook - dams and millponds, and brick factories that have been converted to many new uses. What is the impact of these old dams on issues such as fish migration, climate change and our natural habitats?
Join us for a 1.5 mile walk starting from the Trustees’ Weir Hill property as we explore the waterfront of the scenic reservation and we talk about the effects of dams in the Merrimack watershed.
