About this Event
This quest brings you right into the heart of Coburg at the time of the advancement of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.Ernest II., Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and Prince Albert, Prince consort of Queen Victoria, both sons of Luise of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg, on a secret mission bring back her mothers corpse to Coburg. Learn about their thoughts, feelings and opinions.
You will enter the Old Town of Coburg through one of its ancient gates like people in the 19th century. You will see the nearly all the main sights of Coburg; among them the "Morizkirche" with its huge epithaph and You'll also visit the original places of history and immerge into the famous "Hofgarten".
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE:
This is an outdoor self-guided exploration game that will take up to ⏲️1.5 hours and 🚶♂️2500 steps (2 km) and will teach you more about Coburg's history than most of your school's lessons! You will visit 10 locations, find clues, crack codes, solve puzzles and learn fun historical facts about the main landmarks in the city.
