🏀 URGENT CALL FOR SUPPORT – COBDEN OLYMPIC BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION 🏀�Our local competition is at risk📅 AGM – Sunday 31st August 2025�🕙 10:00 AM�📍 Cobden Technical School Gymnasium�👨👩👧👦 Children welcome, balls will be available for them to practice during the meeting.
Since our last post, we’ve received just one offer of help. Sadly, without more support, the future of the Cobden Olympic Basketball Association, and the competition itself, is now in serious doubt.
We understand, we’re all time poor. Life is busy, and it’s hard to commit. But right now, we urgently need more hands to keep things running. Several committee roles must be filled at the AGM. Without new volunteers, we may be forced to discontinue the competition.
When more people get involved, the workload becomes lighter, and most importantly, our kids get to keep playing the sport they love.
Whether it’s helping on game days, assisting with admin, or stepping into a committee role — your support truly matters.
Please consider getting involved. Share this message with someone who might have the time or skills to help, and please come along to the AGM.
