Theme: “Coastline Creative Retreat”
Arrival starts on Thursday at 10am
Departure on Sunday at 3pm
Our retreat is open to all kinds of crafters:
papercrafting, mixed media, sewing, quilting, knitting and more!
Cost: $300 ($285.73 + gst) Payment is due in full at this time.
There are so many reasons why attending our retreat is beneficial:
• Time away from everyday distractions
• Time set aside to do what you love (crafting of any kind!)
• To be with a group of people who enjoy crafting just as much as you
• 4 days free from dishes and cleaning (at least while you are at the retreat!)
• See what others are doing and sharing ideas
• The reasons are endless….
Registration at our Creative Retreats include:
• Welcome Package
• 6’ table space
• Includes the following meals:
Post Breakfast items: Fri and Sat (Please note, not a full breakfast),
Brunch on Sunday
Lunch: Thurs, Fri and Saturday,
Dinner: Thurs, Fri, and Saturday
ALSO:
• Make n’ Takes offered (optional)
• Earn entries into the Prizes donated by leading manufacturers in the scrapbooking industry (these are not guaranteed….but they have never let me down!)
• We are also going to do a fundraising portion to our Stay at Home retreat. We encourage you to bring in at least 1 non-perishable food donation per day of the retreat. You will receive a ticket per donation item into separate fundraising draws!
• A weekend spent with like-minded crafters!
• Tea, Coffee, water available throughout the retreat.
Registration Small Print:
EVERYONE is welcome to sign up for our Creative Retreats. Our retreats are open to all types of crafters (papercrafters of all kinds, mixed media artists, sew/quilt fanatics, knitters, etc.)
If you are registering younger family members, please be advised and understand that all discussions are unfiltered. Please make proper arrangements for the love, care and safety of anyone you registered under the legal age while attending our Creative Retreat weekend.
If you have special needs for the weekend, please be sure to communicate that with us when registering. Remember we want the weekend to be enjoyable- this time is FOR YOU!
Cancellation –
If WE cancel the retreat (although that is not our intention to do!), we will refund your money.
If YOU cancel between 1-2 months before the retreat, half of your fee (minus the deposit) will be refunded. No refunds will be given with less than a month notice given. If you wish to find a replacement attendee to take your spot, we are happy for you to do that. Financial arrangements are between you and the other person. **Refunds are also minus the Square Administration fee.**
To Guarantee Your Spot – Your spot is secure once your non-refundable deposit is received.
Retreat Payments – You may choose to make one lump sum to pay your retreat fee, or pay on our payment plan schedule. Payment plans will be due on the 15th of each month. We are sorry, but we must stick to the same payment plan for everyone. It is too difficult to keep track of numerous different payment schedules.
No Show – Please refer to cancellation policy. For those who find themselves unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances (after the cancellation deadline), will receive all the regular handouts that the attendees receive. If there is an attendee who is present and can take them to you, please arrange for that. If not, it will be your responsibility to make arrangements for pick up within 1 month after the retreat. If you would like the items shipped to you, you will be responsible for the exact shipping costs.
Accommodations – this is a “Stay at Home” retreat…therefore, each night you will go home to sleep. For those who are from outside of Victoria, please arrange your own accommodations.
On-site Store – We will bring our mobile store to the retreat. If you have special product requests, please contact Stacey well in advance. Payment for purchases can be made by MasterCard, VISA, Debit tap or chip, as well as cash. E-transfer can also be arranged.
Stay at Home Retreat times:
Thursday 10am – 9pm
Friday 9am – 9pm
Saturday 9am – 9pm
Sunday 9am – 3pm
Retreat Fee – Payment Plan – Cancellation Policy
Cost: $300
A Non-Refundable (and non-transferable) Deposit of $50.00 will be payable to reserve your spot. Please know that registration is only confirmed once this payment is received.
Non-refundable deposit: $50 ($47.63 + gst)
November 15th = $125 ($119.05 + gst)
December 15th = $125 ($119.05 + gst)
Total: $300 ($285.73 + gst)
CANCELLATION POLICY
(by registering, you understand and are in agreement with this cancellation policy)
2025-26 Cancellation dates:
FULL REFUND***: if you cancel December 4th, 2025 or before (less the $50.00 non-refundable deposit).
HALF Refund***: If you cancel between December 5, 2025 – January 4th, 2026 (less the $50 non-refundable deposit)
NO REFUND: January 5th, 2026 or after
LATE FEE: ***PAYMENTS MUST be made in FULL by December 15th. Late payment fee of $5 per day will be added to camp fees not paid in full by December 15th. ***Please note: Payments to be made by cash, credit card, Debit or e-transfer.
***Also: Any refunds will also be less the Square administrative fees, if you paid using our square system.
Allergies note: A full list of allergies must be submitted to Scrapbook Essentials BC upon registering. This will enable us to plan accordingly.
