• Chamber Music: Even if you have an established group, we will pair you with others of similar level for a chance to work with new collaborators. Parts will be sent in early January for preparation.
• Solo Performances: Each participant should have a solo prepared for the Saturday evening concert. This retreat is all about showcasing YOU!
• Guitar Orchestra: Approximately 20 minutes of music will be worked on during the camp, with parts provided in early January.
• Luthier Workshop: Experience a variety of vintage and concert classical guitars during the Luthier Tasting & Workshop.
• Concerts: All concerts, including the Saturday solo performances and Sunday chamber music, will be open to the public. The Mela Guitar Quartet, winners of the GFA International Chamber Music Competition, will also perform.

HOUSING:

9 single rooms, 4 double rooms rooms, 1 guest house

For DMV attendees:
Flights to Providence are available from all major airports in the DMV region. Early booking often makes these affordable. For a scenic and stress-free journey, consider taking the Amtrak train. Trains from BWI to Rhode Island are available for as low as $53 each way, arriving at 3:46 PM or 4:50 PM, with return trains on Sunday departing at 5:47 PM for $68. We are happy to arrange transportation from the South Kingston station to the Inn.

For locals:

Ample parking is available at the General Stanton Inn. You may also decide to take the Train to Kingston, RI and take an Uber to the Inn.
