1st leg of the Coastal Empire Ultimate Archery Challenge here is some clarification about the Coastal Empire Ultimate Hunter class and our Coastal Empire UAC Champion, as well as the prizes.
Entry fee: $50 with a 50% payback at each shoot.
Equipment rules and limitations:
- Must have a Hunting bow. (a bow that is marketed on a manufacturers website as their Hunting bow)
- Arrow size can be no larger than a 23 shaft.
- Front stabilizer can be no longer than 12” from front of the riser to tip of stabilizer (weights included)
- Rear stabilizer can be no longer than 12” from attachment assembly. (meaning the rear Quick connect)
- The sight may be any hunting sight on the market. NO TARGET SIGHTS.
- No magnification in the sight.
Competition Rules:
- Ultimate Hunter class is a 45 yard class. Meaning the targets maybe set out to 45 yards with a 2 yard variation due to range finder differences.
- The game is played and scored with ASA scoring rules. (12-10-8-5, lower ring is in play until the shooter calls the upper ring)
- There is a series of events. Throughout the year we have 5 club events.
March 22nd; April 13th; May 17th; July 27th and August (TBD)
- We will take the best 3 scores from each shooter to determine the top 3 shooters
- Those 3 shooters will then shoot off at our August Hunt shoot (date TBD). This will be a 5 target shoot off. Your score during that shoot off will add to your accumulated score. (Ie: shooter has a score of 202; 204; and 204 for a total of 610. Shooter then shoots a 52 in the shoot down. His total score is then 662)
- The winner will receive the tethrd Grit set up ( saddle - sticks - and platform )

- the cost for those classes are $25 for adults / $10 for youth
- $15 for a fun round
