LIMITED TO 30 ARTISTS PER COUNTY PER DAY
- Online Registration Period: November 1, 2024 – January 1, 2025
- Participation Fee: $25 (non-refundable) – Includes eligibility for the Paint Out and the juried exhibition at The Elliott Museum.
- Optional Lunch: $15 per day – Panera pre-order option available - turkey or veggie lunch box.
EVENT LOGISTICS
- Refuge Shuttle Service: Complimentary transportation from The Elliott Museum.
- Shuttle Hours: starting at 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Shuttle will run throughout the day, but to ensure your morning spot, please reserve your departure time from the Elliott when registering. The shuttle can accommodate 8 passengers at a time.
- On-Site Amenities: Restrooms and water stations are available throughout the day.
JURIED EXHIBITION AT THE ELLIOTT MUSEUM
All work created during the Paint Out will be eligible for entry in the Coastal Colors Juried Exhibition at the Elliott Museum. This exclusive showcase offers unparalleled exposure and brings together the artistry and spirit of the local community.

Key Dates and Submission Guidelines
- Registration November 1, 2024 - January 1, 2025
- Online Submission Contract Deadline: January 25, 2025
- Framed (ready to be hung) Art Drop-off: February 5, 6, or 7, 2025
- Hanging Dates: February 9 and 10, 2025
- Judging: February 10, 2025
Exhibit Dates
February 11 – May 16, 2025
VIP Opening Reception: February 11, 2025
Note: All artwork must remain at The Elliott Museum for the entire duration of the exhibit, regardless of purchase.
Online Submission Requirements
Each artist may submit one artwork accompanied by:
- Artist’s name and contact information
- Photograph of the artwork (unframed)
- Title, size, description, medium, and sales price
Sales Agreement and Opportunities
- 75% of sales go to the artist
- 25% supports the House of Refuge
Note: All artwork regardless of sale must remain at The Elliott Museum throughout the exhibit period, ensuring visitors have the full experience of the collection.
