The City of Hallandale Beach joins Broward County to participate in the annual International Coastal Cleanup, sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy. The Cleanup takes place in over 122 countries with over one million volunteers participating worldwide.Join us on the 3rd Saturday of September at South City Beach Park from 9am - 12pm. Parking is free for volunteers during the Cleanup.
Please register and dress appropriately for the weather, either rain or shine. Please bring a hat, gloves, sunscreen, and water. If you have a 5-gallon bucket at home you can bring to use, that will keep one more plastic bag out of a trash disposal site!
