On behalf of the Karratha Water Polo Association, we’re excited to invite you to a free “Come and Try” community event celebrating the incredible range of aquatic sports available right here in the Karratha and Dampier region!📅 Date: Saturday 20th September
⏰ Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Venue: Karratha Leisureplex, 50m Pool
💲 Cost: Free entry for everyone
This event is the perfect chance for families, juniors, teens, and adults from Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Point Samson and surrounding communities to get in the water and experience something new.
What’s on offer:
🤽🏻Senior, Junior & Flippa Ball Water Polo
🛟 Surf Life Saving (with Dampier SLSC)
🤿 Underwater Hockey & Underwater Rugby
🏊 Karratha Amateur Swimming Club
You’ll be able to rotate between sports, try as many as you like, and discover which one sparks your interest – all in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.
✅ Important Info:
• Leisureplex pool rules apply
• Parental supervision required for all children
• Participants must have minimum Level 5 swimming ability to take part in water polo and deep-water activities.
Each club will have their own station with friendly coaches and members ready to help, provide equipment, and answer questions. You can also register your interest for ongoing programs and memberships.
