You’re invited to the Nature House this Saturday, December 13th for a special fundraising event at Wild Bird Trust. Led by designer Megan Branson (Olla Flowers) in this hands-on workshop, you'll create a one-of-a-kind wreath using a mix of evergreens and plant materials from Maplewood Flats to adorn your home. Gather together and hear stories from a Tsleil-Waututh knowledge holder as we create and open our hearts to stories from the land. All supplies are included, plus enjoy a warming beverage - either hot apple cider, tea or hot chocolate, seasonal baking and warm conversation with new friends.
No experience necessary - our designer Megan and her helper will support you through the creative process. Information will be shared on the trees and shrubs found at Maplewood Flats and we will share about our tricky relationship with invasives like holly (which are ofted use to add colour to wreaths!)
