Mission Statement:Honour the changing seasons, expand and strengthen our community, and co-create a nourishing heart-based celebration of life through offerings presented by those attending.
Coalesce has the intention to operate with a heart-centered approach to be a blend of retreat, festival, and community gathering: featuring workshops, live music, and dance flows curated by YOU.
It is with great delight we announce this years Coalesce Midsummer Gathering is again being held within the magic of Canaan Downs on Takaka Hill ❤
We warmly invite you to come co-create a 4 day gathering built on the heart warming vibes of previous events at this significant time of year. Our intention is for an intimate gathering with community offerings of ritual, dance, live music and food.
We reckon this years gathering will again be:
* A little bit of Festival.
* A little bit of Retreat.
* A whole lot of community connection & fun!
Coalesce is a space of co-creation, built on a basic foundation with a core crew erecting structures, and YOU being an active part in creating the magic!
How do you want to celebrate this significant time with your community? What sparks a flame in your heart to offer?
Let this be an invitation to ask yourself what you'd love most to give & receive. It doesn't have to be grand (but it can be!)
What to expect:
* We will have a limited number of places for scheduled workshops and performances. Applications are open for those interested in sharing their talent, knowledge and passion to tell us what they have in mind!
> There will be spaces and resources available (including the KSM Productions sound system that has been part of Dance Temple Motueka, Conscious Dance Aotearoa, Lunasa, Evolve and a number of live performances in the Tasman Region) ❤
* There will also be plenty of space for spontaneous offerings with a noticeboard and spaces available to organically connect and share!
* The gathering will provide a communal kitchen available for the preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
> The intention is to foster the culture of sharing with your community - the gathering itself will be contributing something also.
* The core crew will be setting up from the 28th December - you are more than welcome to join us anytime after midday to provide a helping hand!
> Camping is available from then through till the 3rd January. All are welcome & encouraged to help complete the creation of a wonderland on the 30th December - please feel free to bring portable saunas, fairy lights, flags, bunting and anything else you feel will add a festive ambience to the gathering ❤
* Opening ceremony will be at 3pm on 30th December.
> A schedule of happenings and offerings will evolve as YOU tell us what you want to offer!

Part of every ticket goes to supporting volunteers and musicians to be a part of the gathering.
* Only FULL EVENT tickets are available (sorry no day passes) though you are welcome to arrive and leave as you need.
* Children 13 years and under free.
* Youth Tickets are available.
Tickets are limited to approx. 200 participants.
