Whether you are a complete beginner looking to learn about the sport, an experienced orienteer who wants some time honing navigation skills or somewhere in between, this is for you.Solway orienteers hold a block of coaching evenings in May. You can attend as many or as few of these sessions as you wish but if you attend all 4 the aim will be to give opportunities for participants to learn, practice and build on navigational skills. If you are a beginner you will be able to get round an orienteering course by the end of the 4 sessions.
To enable our coaches to plan more effectively and ensure that there are enough maps and resources to go round we will be asking people to book their place.
Sessions will start at 18.30 and last somewhere around an hour to an hour and a half.
Cost £2.00 for members (adult & junior). Non members adult £5.00 and junior £3.00 (if you are a non member and attend all 4 you will have the opportunity to convert your entry fee into club membership at no extra cost.)
