About this Event

Co-hosted by: , , and

Join cooperative professionals and enthusiasts from across co-op sectors for happy hour networking, storytelling, and celebration. Connect with peers you rarely get to see in one room, share cooperative success stories, raise a toast to CU Forward Volunteers, the successful relaunch of CoMinnesota, and help CDS celebrate four decades of cooperative development!

This gathering is designed for those who want to:

  • Network across cooperative sectors (credit unions, food co-ops, housing co-ops, worker co-ops, energy co-ops, co-op support organizations, and more)
  • Celebrate Co-op Month, the International Year of Cooperatives, 100 years of Credit Unions in Minnesota, and CDS's 40th anniversary
  • Learn about cooperatives, including development trends and opportunities
  • Generate content and connections for their own organizations
  • Share success stories and innovative approaches with peers

The event will include informal networking and facilitated conversation, as well as light appetizers, birthday cake, and Broken Clock’s special High Yield Pale Ale, commemorating 100 years of Credit Unions in Minnesota!

Calling All Cooperatives: Join Credit Unions for a Day of Giving Back

In celebration of Cooperative Month and the International Year of Cooperatives, The Minnesota Credit Union Network is inviting fellow co-ops to join credit unions in our annual on October 13th— a statewide day of service focused on the cooperative principle #7, “Concern for Community.”

Ways to Participate:

  • Host a Volunteer Project – Have a need? We’ll connect credit union teams to your service opportunity.
  • Join a CU-Led Project – Lend a hand alongside credit union volunteers in your area.
