Xcel Energy is hosting two all-day free trainings for heat pump education and training. Breakfast and lunch provided. Sales staff are encouraged to attend. We will cover a variety of topics, including load calculations, heat pump sizing and selection, and available rebates and incentives.

Training starts at 7:30AM - 3:10PM
Day 1 Agenda: This content will be focused towards contractors who are new to heat pumps. Topics include: Myths about heat pump not working in cold climates, can the ductwork handle it? What equipment qualifies for rebates? Are operating costs too expensive? Xcel Energy, City of Denver, and Colorado Energy Office will provide rebate updates.
Day 2 Agenda: This content will include more advanced topics for experienced heat pump contractors (all are welcome to attend who are interested). Topics include: EER2 requirements, Manual S, NEEP and other tool updates, and electric panel assessments. Xcel Energy, City of Denver, and Colorado Energy Office will provide rebate updates.
