The CRTC has launched a public consultation to co-develop an Indigenous broadcasting policy with Indigenous peoples.
About this Event

During the consultation, the CRTC is seeking a diverse range of perspectives from Indigenous peoples and Canadians on how radio, television, and online streaming services in Canada can meet the needs and interests of Indigenous audiences, broadcasters, and content creators. The CRTC is also seeking perspectives on how the new policy can effectively support the creation, presentation, and discoverability of Indigenous content.

Indigenous peoples and Canadians can participate in different ways. All comments shared during the consultation will help inform the co-development of the Indigenous broadcasting policy.

We are offering information sessions in English and French to explain how to participate in this consultation. The sessions will provide publicly available information about the CRTC’s processes and participants will not have access to any exclusive information. We invite all interested parties to sign up for a session.

We are committed to providing a barrier-free event. If you have any accessibility needs, please send an email to [email protected]
