KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Kaushal B. Nanavati is an Integrative Family Physician at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY who enjoys educating people on wellness, self-care, and achieving contentment and peace in life using humor, stories, and real, tangible examples. He is an author and sought-after speaker, having written a book series, CORE 4 of Wellness, which is a culmination of evidence and insights addressing the importance of nutrition, physical exercise, stress management, and spiritual wellness to achieve a balanced life.
Beth McCarthy, NCC, LMHC: Beth has more than 30 years of experience in the mental health field and Employee Assistance Programming. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Beth has been the Clinical Manager for Crouse HelpPeople EAP since 2017. In this role, she administers the overall operation of HelpPeople, while also providing clinical counseling, crisis response, wellness and leadership courses, and consultations to those in leadership and non-leadership roles across industries.
Renee Hagar Smith is a visionary leadership coach, workplace consultant, and founder of the CNY Leaders’ Circle. A suicide loss survivor, she's passionate about mental health awareness and fostering open conversations around suicide loss. Renee teaches compassionate, authentic, and vulnerable leadership and life skills, helping leaders to create more compassionate workplaces and foster better communication. She also empowers female leaders to lead with heart, courage, and strength.
