Vincent A. Smith has served as the Director of Capital Projects Administration (CPA) for the City of New Orleans since November 2010, overseeing the completion of over 300 capital projects with a budget of $600 million. He holds an AAS degree in Architecture from the University of the District of Columbia and brings decades of experience in project management, including leading Birmingham’s first consolidated streets capital improvements program. Smith’s career is marked by his leadership in urban development, Christian ministry, and public service, including his role as a City Council member in Fairfield, Alabama.
