Help finish up a major project: building a major reroute to eliminate the roadwalk on Crane Rd. north of Middleville. We will complete building over a mile of new trail through public and private land (thank you to all of our landowners!). We will be focused on finishing up trail construction and marking the new trail.The Chapter will supply some tools, but please bring mattocks or pulaskis if you have them. Bring sturdy gloves and we recommend that you wear long pants and sleeves even if it’s warm. Plan to wear sunscreen and bug spray, and bring plenty of water and snacks. Plan to get dirty or get blaze paint on you! We will work until around lunchtime.

Trail work days are usually on the third Saturday of every month at 9:30 AM. Optional breakfast at 8 AM, but there will be a grand opening hike on the new trail instead of a work day on Oct. 18. The next work day is Nov. 15, 9:30 AM. Plans for the November work day are still to be determined
