The Certified Nursing Assistant role is a health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). These duties may include, but are not limited to EKGs, vital signs, basic patient care and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on scope of service of unit/department where assigned.

Required Qualifications:
· Sufficient for Certification.
· California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
· National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
· PREFERRED 6 months - Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or post acute environment.

Required qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Completion of program for Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Upon hire: California Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Completion of course in Intravenous Therapy approved by the LVN Board.
- 1 year of Acute care institutional experience.
- Recent hospital direct patient care experience on an acute, sub-acute unit or skilled nursing facility.
