ENG:From October 28 to 30, Kampnagel will host the second edition of the CONFERENCE ON MIGRATION AND MEDIA AWARENESS (CMMA) – a forum for media professionals, journalists, politicians, decision-makers, civil society activists and people with and without refugee and migration experience. After the first edition in November 2017, the focus is now once again on strengthening alliances for the rights of migrants and refugees, on solidarity in a society beyond hate, and on media presentations beyond stereotyping. With CMMA 2021, journalist, moderator and media entrepreneur Larry Moore Macaulay combines lectures, panels, debates and cultural formats with top-class experts on the theme “Looking Back, Thinking Ahead” – the focus is on topics such as inclusion, diversity and participation in the media and arts sector (community & mainstream). Analog and digital, a discursive exchange on political moods and opinions in the “(post) pandemic era” will emerge, analyzing diversity as a norm and a strength, and seismographically touching on upcoming issues in global discourses. Vom 28. bis 30. Oktober wird Kampnagel zum Austragungsort der zweiten Ausgabe der CONFERENCE ON MIGRATION AND MEDIA AWARENESS (CMMA) – einem Forum für Medienschaffende, Journalist*innen, Politiker*innen, Entscheidungsträger*innen, Aktivist*innen der Zivilgesellschaft und Menschen mit und ohne Flucht- und Migrationserfahrung. Nach der ersten Ausgabe im November 2017 geht es nun erneut um die Stärkung von Allianzen für die Rechte von Migrant*innen und Geflüchteten, um Solidarität in einer Gesellschaft jenseits des Hasses und um mediale Präsentationen jenseits von Stereotypisierungen. Mit der CMMA 2021 verbindet der Journalist, Moderator und Medienunternehmer Larry Moore Macaulay Vorträge, Panels, Debatten und kulturelle Formate mit hochkarätigen Expert*innen zum Thema "Looking Back, Thinking Ahead" – im Zentrum stehen Themen wie Inklusion, Vielfalt und Partizipation im Medien- und Kunstsektor (Community & Mainstream). Analog und digital entsteht ein diskursiver Austausch über politische Stimmungen und Meinungsbilder in der "(post) pandemic era", der Diversität als Norm und Stärke analysiert und seismographisch die kommenden Fragestellungen in globalen Diskursen anreißt.
