Announcing another classic film playing at the historic Babcock Theatre to get 2025 off to a great start! Saturday, January 4th, we will be having TWO special screenings of Jonathan Lynn's fantastic 1985 mystery comedy, CLUE, in celebration of the film's 40th anniversary! Based on the classic board game of the same name, CLUE takes multiple liberties with its source material in order to tell a seriously entertaining story full of mystery, murder, suspense, and an upbeat, frenetic energy all throughout! Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, and many others give some all-star performances as they completely chew the scenery, only helping to bolster the entertainment factor of this 80s classic!
Six colorful guests are invited to the estate of Mr. Boddy for a dinner party. However, he quickly winds up murdered when the lights go out, and it is soon discovered that each guest was being blackmailed by Boddy, giving all of them a reason to murder him. The guests and Boddy's eccentric butler consequently take it upon themselves to search the mansion for clues to properly suss out the culprit before the body count rises!
