About this Event
Hello, Los Angeles! We are ascendance, a collective of four New Orleans and Los Angeles based Black artists who have thrown zodiac inspired parties for the last seven and a half years in New Orleans.
Two of the members of our collective baby.com & DJ Chinua are Los Angeles based DJs you may have seen play around the city and they are throwing our debut LA event on March 29 Downtown at Caña Rum Bar celebrating Aries season! We'll also be throwing an event in New Orleans the same night at the same time that will be livestreamed at Caña so if you have friends in New Orleans, put them on! That's right, two cities, one night!
We are a consent only space, no racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia allowed!
Free RSVP, special guests, craft cocktails, and we'll be playing tracks from all around the zodiac with a focus on some of our favorite Aries artists including Mariah, Selena, Juicy J, Quavo, Sexxy Red, and more. As you can see from the recap below of our Rihanna themed Pisces Mardi Gras Ball from last month, we are dancers so come ready to cut up. The color theme is red, so plan your outfit accordingly!
