Join award-winning performer, producer and educator Anna Thomson for a dive into cheeky comedic characters with Clown for Burlesque! Whether you're an experienced burlesque performer, or someone just starting out, this 2hr workshop will have something for everyone, in exploring how better to connect with your audience playfully and with presence. Best suited to folk interested in performing contemporary/neo-burlesque, or who don't mind making fun of themselves and engaging with their more ridiculous/absurd sides. Get in contact if you need anymore info. :)

Woohoo! Book in for in both for a discount.
2 hours is such a short time! We won't be able to explore all things, however we will dip our toes into the wonderfully turbulent waters of the ridiculous. If there is interest, a longer workshop can be arranged in future.
If your circumstances are a barrier, please let me know. Especially for those underrepresented in the performance/clowning scene, incl First Nations, BIPOC/People of the Global Majority or folk who identify as having disability.

I recognise that these workshops will be run on the unceded Aboriginal lands of the Kaurna people, and pay my whole-heartened respects. I commit to anti-racist practices and raising the voices of First Nations people across so called 'Australia'.
