Teachers Ely Sellers, and Master Clown Patricia Dos Santos, the founders of Flop-School of Clown, will coach you on how to find your individual clown! What speaks to you? We will explore Theatrical Clown, Silent Clown/Pantomime, Mask, Crowd Work, Improv, Slapstick, and Variety Show.We will start with the basics: Connection! Being real and vulnerable! Finding joy play! Finding games with the audience! Not being afraid of failure and making mistakes! (The freedom of a flop!) We will teach you how to build characters, and see through their eyes. Learn how to build a world the audience can feel safe to let go and find their own joy through you, the clown.
This class is one (1) three hour session. The instructor is Ely Sellers. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.
