The Art of Tango: A Dance of Connection

Argentine tango isn’t just a dance; it’s a language between two people (or more!) expressed through every step, every lean, every embrace. It’s about the silent conversation between partners, listening to each other’s energy, and moving through the rhythm of connection and surrender.
Tango teaches us to be fully present, to trust, and to feel—as the music flows through us and transforms into movement.
The Art of Clowning: A Dance of Play

Clowning, in its truest form, is a celebration of vulnerability, joy, and the power of the moment. It’s an invitation to embrace your inner fool, to release your inhibitions, and to see the world through fresh eyes. Clowns create worlds from absurdity, joy, and deep emotional connection—no need for words, only the language of the heart.

Tango’s elegant, flowing improvisation meets clowning’s playful, raw expression. Together, they form an explosive mix of fun and depth that will have you laughing, moving, and feeling alive in new ways.
In this weekend workshop, Patrick van den Boom (founder of Clownschool International) and Anniken Seglem Krogstad (founder of Tangoskolen) will guide you through the fusion of both worlds. You’ll discover how playfulness in tango can lead to surprising moments of joy, and how tango’s trust and connection will deepen your clowning practice. It’s a celebration of rhythm and humor, balance and laughter.
