The band opened for such artists as Pearl Jam and performed at many of the original club-scene venues, taking part in the Seattle grunge subculture. When the band broke up in the late 90’s, Virant went on to pursue a career of her own, making music out of the blues and country idiom.
With Miraco, Danny Baker is going back to rock roots.
He honed his skills in honky-tonks and country bars across the Pacific Northwest. Scraping, shimmering guitars and a propulsive rhythmic foundation reveal influences like Hüsker Dü and Son Volt.
