Welcome parents, babies, kids 10 and under for a beautiful chance to connect, play, exchange old clothes and items for something new! 🌞
We will have some snacks, drinks and a place for the babies to play and parents to chat. Also simple crafts, sidewalk chalk, bubbles etc will be available for the older kids to play inside+outside 🌱
Bring your extra, unused clean toys, books, clothes, baby things, strollers etc and exchange it for anything else available! Last clothing swap we made sections for people to look through and it worked really well 💝 Take what you need and leave what you don’t. Perfect for this economy.
Also, if there are higher ticket items you are hoping to sell you’re welcome to bring them and leave a price tag including cost and an e-transfer email to send the money to. We can manage the sales table and any unsold items can be picked up at the end of the day🙌
We are right beside a school playground if your little one needs to burn off some energy before or after joining! (Zoo and Science center are also within a 5 k walk)
Feel free to bring snacks if you wish (we will likely have a fruit and veggie tray, oranges, tea, bubbly water available) but it’s not mandatory. Just come by empty handed or with a truckload of unwanted kids things! We will share company and that’s plenty ☺️
This is set as a public event so friends can be shared easily ❤️because it’s public, we are only providing our address over messenger. The last clothing swap had 600 people interested/going 😳 about 50 showed up, but it was a roaring success!
