Learn how to take an ordinary item of clothing and upcycle it into something unique.Tutors Deb Thearle & Sam Holder will teach basic sewing skills and techniques that can be replicated at home. In this hands-on workshop participants will be able to practise these techniques and take home a finished piece.
Suitable for ages 12-18. No sewing experience is necessary.
Two workshop dates during the school holidays -
Thursday 11th July 10-2
Tuesday 16th July 10-2
Stillwater Community Hall, 1a Duck Creek Road, Stillwater
Lunch and all materials provided.
Cost - $5 thanks to funding from Auckland Council.
Facilitated by Hibsicus Coast Zero Waste and Sustainable Orewa.
