About this Event
If you’ve been to our little hideaway you know the flora and fauna native to New York inspire everything from our cocktails to the lush mural by Nina Nichols that serves as a visual anchor for our space. Our desire to reconnect with ourselves and each other in space that cultivates warmth, play, and curiosity is tied to a kind of reimagining of rewilding on a community level. We hope you’ll join us in that pursuit this weekend and every time you come to The Kite!
We’re kicking off the weekend with a clothing swap and e-waste drive!
- Bring your cables, cords, old flip phone, walkman to be re-used or properly recycled. Please nothing bigger than a breadbox (no laptops, TV’s, monitors).
- Please only bring clothes, shoes, and accessories to the swap! We’ll have opportunities for other item swaps in the future.
- Please make sure the clothing items you bring are clean and in good condition.
- All leftover items will be donated to Housing Works. Electronics will be donated to Goodwill, a NYC designated e-waste drop-off site.

We’ll have a special absinthe cocktail all weekend long with absinthe from NY based distillery Delaware Phoenix!
