**We’ve made the tough decision to postpone the clothing swap event from October 12 to January 4, 2025**The reason for this change is that we haven’t yet received the variety of donations we were able to get for the last swap, particularly across a wide range of sizes. We want this event to be as amazing and inclusive as possible—and that requires ensuring everyone can find something they’ll love. If you donated you have recieved an e-mail with further instructions, or feel free to send us a message!
Join us for our second Clothing Swap event on January 4th, where fashion meets sustainability in a celebration of eco-conscious living. Participants can bring a bag of gently used clothes to donate up until October 10th during our open hours. We will be accepting new and gently used men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes.
What should I bring? Bring in clothing, athleisure, maternity clothing, shoes, outerwear, swimwear, accessories, and books that no longer have a home in your closet. Please only bring pieces you would be proud to share with a friend. Make sure your items are clean and undamaged.
Please, none of the following: lingerie and underwear, commemorative t-shirts (high school sports teams, fundraiser events), stained, or damaged items. Limit the items to only your very best pieces. Put a priority on the quality of the pieces over the quantity you bring. This clothing can be dropped off at the cidery anytime during our open hours before October 11.
From 12 pm to 2 pm, the doors will open to the public (no need to donate to participate during this time). Whether you're looking to refresh your wardrobe with pre-loved pieces or simply want to engage in eco-friendly practices, this event is for you.
Clothing swaps are more than just a trendy way to exchange garments; they're a statement of commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting a circular fashion economy. By swapping clothes instead of buying new ones, we can significantly reduce the environmental impact associated with the fashion industry, which is one of the most polluting industries globally.
