We are doing our bi-annual clothing swap for SPRING/SUMMER.This year we have added a SEEDLING swap as well if your into gardening and grew too many plants or too much of one kind.
How it Works:
*Do a spring closet clean
*Gather clothing worth swapping (No holes or tears)
*Drop off clothes at the studio over the next few weeks (preferred) when you come to classes, or bring straight to the event.
*Swap clothing with other items there to refresh your closet the eco-friendly way!
To partake in the swap:
1) Bring clothing to swap (5-10 pieces)
OR 2) Bring a donation for charity if you don't have clothes to contribute (Charity TBA)
*You can swap a similar amount of clothing to what you bring
*Let's keep it spring/summer themed! Camping items, shoes/sandals, and accessories also welcome!
NOTE: The swap works best when everyone is there around a similar time, so it's best to show up between 1:30-2pm to get the most access and enjoy this community activity with everyone helping to dress each other up with their items to swap. It's a lot of fun!
Also, if you decide to show up earlier than 1:30 pm, then you are volunteering yourself to help with set up as we wont actually be ready until 1:30 pm (There is a lot of set up required for this!). Let me know if you wish to help with set up!
As for the SEEDLING SWAP:
Please bring each seedling in their own small container for easy swapping.
If you bring a whole tray with multiple seedling, there might not be a set up to transplant them. It would be most helpful if that's done in advance.
If you need eco-friendly ideas you can use toilet paper rolls with the bottom folded in to make small little containers :)
