Clothes swapping is a smart and thrifty way to revive your wardrobe, avoid waste, save money and partake in the circular economy. Connect with like-minded individuals who care about our community and environment. Have fun while making a positive impact! We are excited to be partnering with Re Place Clothing Warehouse. Not your usual clothes swap, you'll have access to over 8,000 items with plenty of time to browse the racks, try on items on offer, and chat to other fashion lovers.
How it works:
Come any time between 10-2pm, with up to 6x items to swap.
Visit our friendly check-in team at the door, who will assess if your items are suitable for swapping. This can sometimes take a few minutes during peak times, but we encourage you to enjoy refreshments & chat to fellow fashion-enthusiasts while you wait!
If the items are unsuitable for resale or swap you can either take them back with you or recycle them for a fee at Re Place which is available on Wednesdays between 2pm and 6pm.
The number of items you bring to swap defines how many you can take. You will receive up to 6 vouchers for the items you bring (i.e. bring 4 items, receive 4 vouchers to take up to 4 items).
Then join the swap! Items are organised by type and size to help you easily browse.
Like other clothes swaps, we do ask that your 6 items are clean, undamaged, free of stains and ready for another person to wear.
Please do not bring:
· Shoes
· Bags
· Scarves
· Accessories
· Swimwear
· Active wear
· Underwear, bras or socks.
Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully, please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings.
