Bring your best pre-loved pieces, enjoy live music, and mingle with fellow fashionistas as we celebrate creativity, community, and circular style.
How it works:
Drop off 3 good-quality, freshly laundered items by Wednesday 22 October, 3:00pm at Forster Library and receive 3 swap tokens to use on the day.
Event Program:
2:00pm – Welcome
• Introduction & Acknowledgement of Country
• Overview of the afternoon’s events
2:10pm – Guest Speaker - Jessie Summerville
• Learn from our Waste Liaison Officer about sustainable fashion, clothing recycling, and mindful wardrobe choices.
2:30pm – Upcycled Fashion - Guest Speaker - Luca
• Be inspired by Luca a young First Nations model passionate about upcycled fashion.
2:45pm – Swap Opens + Paper Daisies Live Music
• Browse the racks, sip something refreshing, enjoy live folk-pop music from The Paper Daisies, and find your next wardrobe gem.
4:30pm – Event concludes
