About this Event
Monthly Clothes Swap in Rebel Reads Bookshop. Book a spot as capacity at our events is limited.
How it works:
- Buy a ticket between €2 to €5 (pay what you can)
- Find up to 5 items of clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer wear
- Wash & dry them in advance (we won't accept clothes that are damp or dirty)
- Bring your clothes to the event and hand to our volunteers
- Browse through the clothes rails & take up to 5 items
- Browse through the second hand books in the store.
We do accept:
- Men's or women's clothes that are in good condition
We don't acccept:
- Clothes that are unwashed, stained, ripped or are in poor condition
- Children's clothes
- Clothes that haven't been washed in advance (this is for your hygiene)
- Shoes, accessories, bags or jewellry (only clothes)
- Underwear, swimwear or pjs
About the venue:
The event is held in Rebel Reads Bookshop, a creative space for organising, educating and community building, centred around a bookshop
How to get here:
The venue is in the Marina Commercial Park, this is next to the Marina Market. If you're coming from the city, pass by the Marina Market and take the 3rd gated entrance for the Marina Commercial Park, as the first two gates will be closed at this time. Go through the main gate, turn left and go straight until you reach a fence, then turn right. We are located next to My Goodness
How to support us:
We are a non-profit group, run completely by volunteers. Our aim is to offer the people of Cork a sustainable alternative to buying new clothes. We accept cash donations at our events or you can support our gofundme:
