About this Event
Lush are raising funds for Cork Clothes Swap this year by selling their charity pots on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th of July in their Cork store. As a thank you to Lush and for those who support swapping clothes, Cork Clothes Swap are hosting a clothes swap in store on Saturday 13th July between 6-7pm. This swap is open to EVERYONE .
Entry to the Clothes Swap & a token to swap will be given to customers upon purchase of a €6.50 or €25 charity pot. Tokens will be available for purchase all day Fri.12th & Sat.13th & at the door Sat.evening at 6.00pm
How it works:
- Find up to 3 items of clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer wear
- Wash & dry them in advance (we won't accept clothes that are dirty or damp)
- Bring your clothes to the event at Lush between 6-7pm
- Browse through clothes from other swappers until 7pm, and take up to 3 items.
We do accept:
- Men's or women's clothes that are in good condition
We don't acccept:
- Clothes that are unwashed, stained, ripped or are in poor condition
- Children's clothes
- Clothes that haven't been washed in advance (this is for your hygiene)
- Shoes, accessories, bags or jewellry (only clothes)
- Underwear, swimwear or pjs
About the Chairty Pot Fundraiser:
Through the sale of Charity Pot Hand And Body Lotions, Lush distributes 100 percent of the purchase price (minus the taxes) as grants to small grassroots organizations working in the areas of human rights, animal protection and the environment. They fund projects around the world that address the root cause of issues and create long-term systemic change. Cork Clothes Swap are delighted to be the recipient of the proceeds between Friday 12th and Saturday 13th for all sales of the charity pots in Cork City store.
