In partnership with Norwood Conservation Commission, Morrill Memorial Library is excited to host Kate Donovan of Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens to present an in-person talk titled "Closing the Garden" on Monday, October 6 starting at 7:00pm in the Simoni Room.While the end of the season can be depressing, it's also the best time to get a jump start on the following year. We'll explore pruning, seed saving, mulching, and composting. Learn the best way to put your garden to bed so that it wakes up healthy in the spring!
About the presenter: Kate is a Master Gardener who lives in Blackstone and has been helping clients grow food sustainably and organically through lectures, garden planning and development since 2016. Kate considers her home as her horticulture laboratory and tries new varieties and techniques every year.
