Cloisonné is an ancient art form that transforms metalwork with vibrant coloured glass. Join us on Friday 10th & Saturday 11th January 2025 for this unique opportunity to learn from a true expert in the craft, Alexandra Raphael. Over the course of two days, you’ll discover how to apply wires (known as 'cloisons' in French) to metal, creating intricate designs for different colored enamels. You’ll work with both transparent and opaque enamels on silver, learning the art of wet laying enamel and how to purify the enamel powder for vibrant colors.
By the end of the two-day course, you will have created a stunning round domed disc pendant as your final piece.
