Come and join the Auckland and NZ Blood on the Clocktower community for a whole weekend of clocktower fun! After the success of the first Huia retreat in April, we have decided to welcome in the Kiwi summer with another weekend in the scenic NZ bush, next to the beach, only a stone's throw from Auckland!
You will get:
- 2 full days of playing Blood on the Clocktower - we have 4 separate play spaces for multiple games going simultaneously, there will be custom scripts and homebrew scripts scheduled, and pick-up games for ad-hoc play, great if you want to try your hand at storytelling
- Saturday evening Clocktower-themed Game Show (if this isn't for you, there will be games of Clocktower going on too)
- Accomodation in shared bunk rooms for 3 nights - freedom to arrive Friday evening or Saturday morning and depart Sunday evening or Monday morning**
- All your meals, snacks and soft drinks for the weekend (we can cater to most dietary requirements)
- Access to swimming at safe beaches around Huia, and Whatipu only 20 minutes away
- Great bush walks (including to a nearby waterfall), should you want a chill moment from the action of the games
- The opportunity to meet new friends who share your passion for this great game we all love!
This will be a great opportunity for the NZ Clocktower community (and perhaps from further afield) to get together, hang out and create some magical moments. We will be packing in as many games of Clocktower as we can (there will be 5 scheduled games each day, but you can feel free to play outside of this schedule also), but there will be plenty of time and space between games to chat to new friends, chill and go for a walk, decompress and enjoy the locale.
** you need to bring your own pillows and bedlinen/sleeping bag, and we are responsible for cleaning the whole venue on departure, so everyone is expected to help out with this.
