Jessica’s love of horses was instant from her first pony ride at age two. At the young age of 8 she began helping her aunt care for her horses every morning before school in hopes to ride once or twice a week. Finally at age 10, her dream came true and she got her very own horse. After riding for several years both Western and English Jessica found dressage and in that she found her passion. She was a working student for many years riding and showing many young Hanoverians at lower levels. Jessica received her bronze and silver medals; both on self trained horses! She now operates a private training facility with a total of 20 horses. Jessica earned her gold medal during the 2023 show season!
Another of Jessica’s passions is the Fell Pony. The Fells are a rare breed with just 250 (approximately) in the U.S. Jessica has successfully competed many Fell ponies including Hinter, a Fell Pony stallion that she took from training level through FEI.
Training and competing many different breeds from Warmbloods, Friesian’s, Fell Ponies and Spanish breeds PRE, Lusitano’s. Currently competing with her Westphalian gelding Fizau in I1 finishing 3rd at Region 8 Championship. Also finishing 5th in PSG Region 8 Championship in 2022. Jessica showed at Grand Prix this past show season, earning her Gold Medal!
Jessica has been a NEDA Spring and Fall symposium demo rider for Carol Lavell/ Michael Poulin and Carl Hester.
