Join Asian Vibes in Denver, Escaladores Unidos, and others for a Climb Night focused on safety and accessibility in the outdoors!
We're hosting a fun-filled evening preparing for climbing season and community bonding! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie at climbing, this event is for everyone who identifies as a person of color wants to climb on!
We'll have a variety of activities planned throughout the evening to keep the energy high and the resources flowing.
- Socialize and find your outdoor climbing crew
- Trade your gear at our Accessible Gear Swap (adult only, max 5 items)
- Donate usable gear for others to benefit at our Gear Donation Drive
- First timers can attend FREE Intro to TR and Intro to Bouldering courses during the event offered by Movement Instructors
- Attend our 15-minute Helmet Safety/Concussion Awareness training provided by Craig Hospital
- Raffle for climbing helmets and other climbing gear!
- Swag bags
- Vendors with discounts, resources and more!
Don't worry if you're completely new to climbing – we'll have resources and tips available to provide peer guidance and support. It's all about having a great time and building connections with like-minded individuals.
Mutual aid day passes are available to individuals for whom cost is a significant barrier to attending.

ACCESSIBLE GEAR SWAP/DONATION RULES
- Up to 5 pieces for gear swap; please consider only high quality items that you would want to receive!
- Up to 5 donation pieces: if you wouldn't use it yourself, then don't bring as a donation!
- Adult sizes only
- No helmets
- No soft gear (i.e. ropes, harnesses, slings)
- Please stick to gear that would accommodate climbing only
Clothing considerations:
- No significant tears or rips that compromise the overall quality/safety
- Please wash clothes that comes in direct contact with skin prior to the event
Climbing gear considerations
- No damage or wear that irreparably comprises the integrity or safety
- Quickdraws will be inspected
- Shoes must not have significant holes or tears
- Gear must be complete (i.e. both gloves, socks, poles, boots)
- Clean gear looks better! Please try cleaning your gear before bringing to the event
GEAR SWAP PROCESS
- People with items surrender their gear at the table to be checked and priced
- Items for gear swap vs. donation will be marked/labeled with price and seller's name/venmo
- All gear will be laid out on tables for people to peruse
- What's left will be open for all attendees to peruse at the end of the event
- Anything left will be donated
PHOTO & VIDEO DISCLAIMER
We will have a freelance photographer present at this event to take professional photos.
The event organizers reserve the right to use any photograph/video taken this event without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. We may use the photograph/video for purposes including but not limited to: social media, future events, brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.
To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.
A person attending this event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organisers during the event, and/or contact Stephanie at [email protected], in writing of their intentions and include a photograph. Only the organizers and the photographer will use the photo for identification purposes and will hold it in confidence.
By participating in this event, or an absence of notifying the event organizers in writing of your desire to not have your photograph used by the event organizers, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify the event organizers from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
Any person or organisation not affiliated with the event organizers or sponors may not use, copy, alter or modify photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of the event organizers.
