About this Event
The pace of decarbonization globally is far slower than it needs to be. If we are going to meet the most pressing issue of our time, we may need to do something that many find unthinkable — pay oil and gas companies to keep these resources in the ground. To debate this thorny question, the first in a new “Climate Taboo” series , The New York Climate Exchange is pleased to welcome renowned environmental ethicists, Alice Evatt and Stephen Gardiner, to our stage on Governors Island. This conversation will be moderated by Bill Spindle, Senior Global Correspondent for Cipher.
