About this Event

Climate Solutions Fund Pitch Competition

The Sustainable and Impact Finance Initiative will host the second Pitch Day for the Berkeley Haas Climate Solutions Fund at 9 AM on November 21. Student investment managers will present market-rate investment opportunities focused on growth equity addressing climate change. Join us to connect with students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals at the forefront of climate investing as we celebrate the completion of the semester for the second class participating in the Climate Solutions Fund, our third student-run investment fund.

Please respect the confidentiality of the information shared during this event. The Pitch Competition is a student exercise involving live diligence of companies and investments, and sensitive information may be discussed as part of this process.

Hear from our MBA Student Investment Partners as they pitch five different investment deals across asset classes and climate solutions to a panel of industry expert judges. The winning team’s company will receive up to a $300,000 investment from the Climate Solutions Fund. This event will be held in Spieker Forum, and lunch will be provided for attendees.

Keynote Speaker

Colin le Duc, Founding Partner of Generation Investment Management, in conversation with Anne Simpson, Global Head of Sustainability for Franklin Templeton.
