About this Event
As usual we will start with a short social gathering. A presentation by Zack Simon, NCAH Member and Founder of Patchwork Ecosystem will follow.
Drawing from best practices around sustainable infrastructure as well as the core principles of permaculture design, this presentation focuses on things we as individuals can do to prepare our condos, townhomes, and houses for the impacts of a changing climate, and to set ourselves up for abundance.
Exploring both the systemic and philosophical aspects of permaculture design, then diving into more specific actions each of us can tackle around reducing our consumption of energy and resources through simple home retrofits and landscaping choices.
Following Zack's presentation, there will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion on this topic!
As always, snacks and coffee/tea will be provided. Bring your own mug!
