About this Event
Come learn more about how your local climate is changing and what District government is doing to protect residents from catastrophes like extreme heat and flooding. Meet with staff from the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Energy and Environment and share your vision for how DC can become “Climate Ready."
Hosted by community partners, these events will include a preview of draft materials to be included in the update to the District’s climate preparedness plan, Climate Ready DC. Find out more and take the Climate Ready DC online survey here: https://engage.dc.gov/climateready.
