About this Event
Adventure begins at the library this summer with our free summer camps! Camps are designed around themes and include reading, discussion, hands-on activities, special library programs, and conclude with group lunchtime. Each morning, camper goers will meet in the children’s library before spending time outside.
Join us for Climate Kids camp where you will learn about climate science, sustainability, planetary health, and more. Activities include hands-in activities, learning and following the scientific process.
Registration is for the entire camp dates/times.
Ages 10-12.
Families will need to provide a brown bag lunch, water bottle, and ensure their child has sunscreen applied as the children will be spending time outdoors weather permitting. Healthy vegetarian snacks will be provided. If your child has food allergies/sensitivities or has a special diet, please pack snacks for yourchild and notify our librarian programmers about food allergies/sensitivities/diet.
Camps are limited to 15 individuals. A waitlist willbe enabled. If you registered for a space your childcan no longer keep, please cancel the reservation so another child on the waitlist can register.
